KWL Charts
These charts are used for students to write/share what they know, what they want to know, and what they learned after the lesson. KWL charts provide multiple means of representation by activating the background knowledge of a student before the lesson as well as providing a form of reflection to be completed after the lesson

This is a low tech tool which allows students to push the correct coin or bill and it adds up the money for them. It works similarly to a calculator however instead of numbers, you have to push the money. The Coin-U-Lator provides multiple means of representation by highlighting relationships, guiding visualization, and maximizing generalization. The Coin-U-Lator does this by allowing students to visualize what money looks like and associate the name and value with the object itself.

Hot Dots
Hot dots are a tool that allow students to choose and answer and receive immediate feedback on their answer. It also allows students to choose other answers and continue to choose until they are correct. This tool is very interesting and could also serve as an attention grabber for students. Hot Dots provide multiple means of representation because they guide information processing, visualization, and manipulation. Hot Dots allow students to manipulate the tools to provide responses.
Magnetic Letters and Numbers
These letters and numbers are a low tech tool which allow students to manipulate letters and numbers as they need to. This makes it much easier for students who struggle with handwriting and the motor skills involved with writing to participate in activities which require the use of the written language. Magnetic numbers and letters provide multiple means of representation by guiding information processing, visualization, and manipulation. Students can manipulate these magnets easily to help them provide responses to problems.
